We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Valuation Associate to join our Central London Offices team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing valuation advice on a wide range of office properties across Central London, working with a diverse client base that includes property companies, developers, investors, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake valuations of office properties in Central London for a variety of purposes, including loan security, financial reporting, and investment advice.
* Manage and develop client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business and cross-selling other company services.
* Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports, ensuring compliance with RICS Valuation Standards (the Red Book) and other relevant guidelines.
* Conduct market research and analysis to support valuation conclusions, staying up-to-date with trends and developments in the Central London office market.
* Mentor and supervise junior members of the team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
* Present valuation advice to clients in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
* Work collaboratively with other teams within the company, such as Agency, Investment, and Capital Markets.
* Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
* MRICS qualification is essential.
* RICS Registered Valuer status is essential.
* Significant post-qualification experience in commercial property valuation, with a focus on Central London offices.
* Proven track record of winning and retaining clients.
* Excellent knowledge of valuation principles and methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation software.
