Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a successful and growing business to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to take on a broad role with responsibility across key financial processes, supporting a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of journals, accruals, and prepayments
Review and reconciliation of balance sheet and intercompany accounts
Income reconciliations
Oversight of bad debt and credit control#Maintenance of the fixed asset register and analysis of capital expenditure
Management accounting responsibilities for smaller business entities within the group
Support with the preparation of tax computations
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Delivery of monthly performance analysis, KPIs, and ad hoc financial reporting
Candidate Requirements New or part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
Knowledge of financial systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other core IT applications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
A collaborative team player with a proactive, detail-focused approach
