What makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work:
* How would you feel about helping others and doing the things that you both enjoy, whilst getting paid to do them?
* Would you like a flexible working pattern with guaranteed hours?
* Can you see yourself spending your whole shift in the same home, with the same person you support, meaning you can have the greatest impact on their lives?
We will pay for your DBS application.
Would you like to see yourself working for a multi-award-winning charity that invests all of its profits back into the people we support, our workforce, and our local communities? How about working with supportive leaders and great colleagues? There are other great benefits too:
* Wear your own casual clothes, as we do not have a uniform!
* Shopping discounts scheme
* You will be entitled to 28 days annual leave inclusive of statutory bank holidays for full-time (part-time is worked out on a pro-rata basis) and a workplace pension scheme too
* Ongoing continued professional development and progression opportunities
* Recommend a Friend Bonus scheme
* Financial Hardship Fund
* Free wellbeing advice and support options
One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people, and every year we invest heavily in our frontline worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April.
Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We are a group of exceptional individuals aged between 50 and 75. We all have different interests and characters, which makes our home such a great place to live. We enjoy spending time together doing fun activities or just having a cup of tea and a chat around the dining room table, having fun and laughing. We all share a love for music, and some of us enjoy a good old sing along. We have lived together for a few years now and have built loving, kind, caring, and respectful relationships. Although we enjoy spending time together, we are respectful of each other’s choices, personal space, and belongings. We also love to get out and about, with trips to the seaside, wildlife parks in the minibus, local coffee shops, and we do enjoy a tipple at our local pub. Therefore, having a full UK manual driving licence is key.
Your values:
We know it takes a special person to work in social care, and we recognize that not everyone who would be perfect for the role will have professional experience. That’s why we’re really passionate about recruiting based on individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life. From those with extensive experience as a support worker or care assistant, to people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to those with no experience at all.
It is also important that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable - which are at the heart of everything we do to ensure high-quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to us, so we look for people with:
* Patience
* Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to others
* A strong work ethic
* Reliability
* Honesty
* Determination
* A problem solver
* Resilience
