Role
Criminal litigation Lawyer
Location: Rotherham – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £50 to £55ph
PAYE Inc Rate: £44.10 to £48.44ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting pleadings, statements, orders and legal documentation.
* Able to handle caseloads involving a range of litigation work, including Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation, Education law, Employment Law and Licensing.
* To attend meetings of the Council’s Boards and Panels, in particular Sub‑Committees in relation to Licensing matters and Complaints panels.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with a valid Practising Certificate with strong knowledge in Criminal Litigation Law.
* Strong experience in handling a broad Criminal litigation caseload.
* Public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
