Vice President, Wireless Solutions
About the role
Passionate about connecting national carriers to the largest Neutral Host Provider? Your next role could keep millions of Americans connected across the top venues, metro, and outdoor spaces in the country. We’re looking for a talented Vice President of Wireless Solutions to lead engagement with our wireless carrier network team partners. You will be responsible for growing our business through expanded network partnerships and programs that drive new opportunities. Reporting directly to our SVP of Wireless Solutions, you will be instrumental in the growth of Boldyn’s wireless carrier business.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for growing revenue and driving the execution of contracts that are critical to our company and customers’ success. It’s a role with a lot of variety that will challenge you on a day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing the engagement with the carrier network teams across DAS, Wi-Fi, Small Cells, and Tower Assets.
2. Engaging with Boldyn’s internal cross-functional team (engineering, construction, finance, and legal) to identify new business opportunities and drive those with the wireless carrier.
3. Sourcing deals by leveraging a hunter mentality as well as broadening Boldyn’s revenue opportunities with organic development.
4. Helping to identify new lines of business to address customer needs and working with the internal team to create workable commercial structures.
5. Proactively seeking ways to improve the sales cycle and find ways to reduce deal friction.
6. Serving as the escalation point for all issues relating to product solutions and deployment for the wireless carrier.
What you’ll bring

You’ll want to make an impact from day one with big ideas about how to improve our culture and the knowledge to get people on board. You will also need the following requirements and skill sets:
7. Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university (advanced degree in business or technical field preferred).
8. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Development position (working with wireless carriers required - specific experience working with the wireless carrier network regions and markets preferred).
9. Strong account relationship skills, creative, driven, and self-motivated with an inherent curiosity.
10. History of driving deals and managing all stages of the transactions.
11. A demonstrated track record of putting clients first, creating win-win results for both clients and other relevant stakeholders.
12. Skilled problem solver with the ability to take complex business problems, develop solutions, and work cross-functionally to execute on those solutions.
13. People management experience preferred.
