2026 UK Summer Placement Programme
Join Mott MacDonald for the 2026 UK Summer Placement Programme. The closing date for this programme is 31st December 2025 and you will receive an update on your application in January or February 2026.
We have two main intake dates for our 2026 summer placements: Monday 22nd June and Monday 6th July. Specify your preferred start date in the application form. The placements last eight weeks.

During the application process, you’ll explore opportunities based on your degree discipline, sector interests and preferred location. If invited to interview, we’ll dive deeper into the specific role you’ve applied for and how it aligns with your strengths.
Candidate Specification
To join us for a summer placement you must currently be enrolled on a degree course at university. Applicants graduating in 2026 with no plans to enrol in a further course may explore our graduate opportunities.

We’re looking for highly motivated students passionate about learning from industry experts. You’ll gain invaluable experience on projects that shape tomorrow’s world, receive realistic insight into our innovative industry and, with enough placement experience, may be invited to a graduate scheme.
