We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our vibrant Sports Department on a part-time, fixed-term basis (2 days per week) for one year. This is an exciting chance to play a key role in delivering an engaging PE curriculum, inspiring a love of sport and physical activity in students of all abilities. About the Role: Delivering inspiring and engaging PE lessons across the curriculum, with a focus on Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11). Creating a stimulating and well-equipped learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle. Contributing to the ongoing development of the PE curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and caters to diverse learning styles. Supporting after-school sports clubs and potentially contributing to the school's competitive sports programme. Building positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence and encouraging participation in physical activity. Contributing to the wider school community and participating in departmental and whole-school events. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified PE teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging and inspiring students. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for promoting the benefits of physical activity and sport. Strong practical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in a variety of sporting disciplines.
