Job Title: Senior Air Conditioning Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Air Conditioning Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and residential HVAC installation projects from initiation to completion. This is a pivotal role within our growing organisation, where you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management of air conditioning installations, from pre-start to handover.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Prepare project programs, schedules, and progress reports.
Manage project budgets, variations, and commercial reporting.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, compliance, and safety standards.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to engineers and site teams.
Participate in project meetings and client briefings as required.
Support the tendering and estimating team with technical input where needed.
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within the HVAC / air conditioning sector.
Proven experience managing commercial or high-end residential AC projects (split, VRV/VRF, chiller systems etc).
Strong understanding of F-Gas regulations, building services, and mechanical design principles.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and cost control.
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client and supplier relationships.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
Relevant mechanical or HVAC qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering).
SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
F-Gas Certification (not essential if not installing).
Experience with CAFM, CRM, or project management software
