⚙️ CNC Setter/ Operator - Rotherham
£17.61 - £18.64 per hour (DOE)
Rotating Shifts (Days/Afters/Nights or Mon-Thurs Days & Nights)
Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Setter to join a growing, well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Rotherham.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and operate Vertical Machining Centres
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Adjust work/tool offsets and carry out tooling changes
* Prove out programmes and set up new jobs
* Work with jigs and fixtures to machine parts to specification
* Complete route cards, documentation, and ensure correct labelling
* Maintain tool inventory and programme registers
* Monitor coolant levels and maintain machine cleanliness
* Ensure parts move through production correctly and efficiently
Requirements:
* Experience in CNC machining, setting and operating (essential)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Strong focus on quality and accuracy
* Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machining processes
* Good teamwork and communication skills
