Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Stone Working Pattern: Permanent Salary: Up to £60,000 p. Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a reputable FMCG organisation based in Stone, Staffordshire to recruit a Finance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. This is a newly created position following organisational growth. The role will be a broadly a site based role, with a minimum of 4 days expected in the office. Therefore applicants must be within a commutable distance. This role requires a commercially astute Finance Manager to oversee financial operations within one of its key product divisions. This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. As Finance Manager, you will report to the Head of Finance and will take full ownership of financial reporting and analysis for a specialist product line within the business. You'll work closely with operational teams to challenge performance, support planning cycles, and ensure compliance with financial standards and deadlines. Key Responsibilities of the Manager include: Leading the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and performance commentary Monitoringand report key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency Supporting annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes Supervising a team of three: 2x Sales Ledger and 1x Purchase Ledger professionals, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial duties Preparing VAT returns, cash flow forecasts, and capital expenditure reports Maintaining financial systems and dashboards Coordinating year-end and internal audits, ensuring readiness and compliance Liaising with external bodies including HMRC to ensure statutory obligations are met To be considered, you will: Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). QBE will be considered Have a strong accounting background within manufacturing or FMCG Be proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Have experience with Microsoft based ERP systems - i.
