Occupational Health Adviser - Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity
We are offering a fixed term or secondment opportunity until February 2026 to cover substantive post holders' maternity leave.
Secondment Opportunity: Existing permanent employees should discuss this opportunity with their line manager and complete the secondment request form, available on the HR/Recruitment intranet. The form must be signed by the line manager and brought to the interview as confirmation of agreement.
Job Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Health Adviser to support NHS Forth Valley’s Occupational Health Service by providing management referral clinics until 28th February 2026. Consideration will be given to both remote and on-site working arrangements.
Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality occupational health service.
2. Manage management referrals independently using eOPAS, NHS Forth Valley’s record management system.
Qualifications and Skills
* Recognised post-registration qualification in Occupational Health.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and computer skills (familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with eOPAS is advantageous).
* Ability to work autonomously.
Additional Information
The Occupational Health Department is based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. We offer flexible hybrid working, combining remote case management with on-site work.
