Atlas pathway and AMI Clinic Administrator (6 moth fixed term)
And exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator with experience working within the NHS to work with our advance clinical practitioners for cardiology supporting their virtual clinics. This is a bespoke role, the team will train and develop the successful candidate with the skills needed to be successful within the post.
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Schedule patients for angiogram, proceed that have been identified for the atlas pathway by the ACP – create a TCI letter, add patients to scheduling template and labyrinth system
2. Board patients to Ortus Virtual Ward
3. Obtain and upload atlas referral information onto CRS
4. Maintain the pathway spreadsheet to update on appointments, outcomes and clinical follow-ups.
5. Liaising with ward clerk to ensure follow-ups are booked
6. Escalate any concerns or issues to ATLAS ACP
7. Assist in compiling data from the spreadsheet for review as required

9. Making ad hoc changes to clinic appointments on Ortus and Cerner as requested by the ACP team
10. Ensuring post-clinic outcomes are completed on Cerner
11. Liaise with ACPs, medical and nursing teams to identify early discharge patients, providing patients with pre-discharge information on their follow-ups
12. Complete G2 clinic letters for the ACP and pharmacy team and send to patient and their GP
13. Respond to incoming calls and deal with enquiries in accordance with team and organisation procedures.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person who would like to join our team, as an ATLAS pathway and AMI (Acute myocardial Infarction) Clinic Administrator. This is a new and exciting opportunity to work within an evolving pathway, which involves the care of heart attack patients on a virtual ward whilst awaiting angiography procedures at home. In this role you will assist in the booking of procedures under the guidance of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, and liase/board the patients onto the virtual ward. You will be responsible for ensuring all referral information is accessible to the clinical team and ensuring the smooth running of the pathway.
The post holder will also provide administrative support for the post heart attack (AMI) clinic, and will be responsible for ensuring that all patient correspondence is accurately sent to patients and their GPs in a timely fashion, as well as assisting with booking appointments. Qualifications
Essential criteria
14. GCSE, A Level or equivalent standard in English and Maths
15. AMSPAR or equivalent e.g. a good level of medical terminology
Experience/Knowledge

16. Experience of working with Cerner/CRS
17. Intermediate IT skills to include knowledge of Microsoft packages for example, Word, Excel, Outlook
18. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
