Role Overview
As a Graduate Accountant, you'll be at the heart of a dynamic, values-driven finance function.
Embedded within a business undergoing strategic transformation, this role offers significant exposure across financial planning, analysis, and operations, with plenty of scope for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support month-end and year-end processes, prepare management accounts, variance reports, and financial commentary.
* Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in developing rolling forecasts, budgeting cycles, and cash flow models to inform strategic decisions.
* Project & Cost Accounting: Monitor financial performance on development sites, track cost-to-complete metrics, and analyse margin variances.
* Remediation & Risk Monitoring: Partner with senior finance team to oversee building safety remediation costs and provisions - a high-priority area in the industry.
* Data Integrity & Controls: Maintain financial systems, continuously enhance controls, and identify process improvements.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, land, and commercial teams to drive accurate reporting and proactive financial management, aligning with the company's placemaking and quality-first ethos.
Candidate Profile - What We're Looking For
* Recent Accounting Graduate (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA in progress or newly qualified).
