We are proud to be working with a highly regarded law firm in Birmingham who are seeking an experienced and motivated Employment Solicitor to join their expanding Employment Law team.
The Role:
As an Employment Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of employment law matters, providing both advisory and contentious support to a diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is confident handling their own matters and delivering practical, client-focused legal advice within a supportive and ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a mixed caseload of claimant and respondent employment law matters
* Providing clear, commercial and pragmatic employment law advice to clients
* Drafting claims, responses, settlement agreements, and advisory documents
* Advising on matters including disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements:
* 2+ years PQE with experience in employment law
* Experience handling both advisory and contentious employment matters
* Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
* Commercial awareness with a client-focused approach
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
