To bridge creative and commercial performance - leading digital growth strategy across Tone’s major clients and driving our own demand generation.

You’ll be the voice of insight and direction: seeing what others don’t, articulating what others can’t, and bringing clarity to clients and internal teams alike.

This is a leadership role without the people management overhead. Ownership of results, relationships, and roadmap.


What success looks like

* Clients trust you as their digital lead – the person who knows not just what’s happening, but why.
* Campaigns run smoothly without escalation, because you anticipate and steer.
* Tone’s own marketing presence grows month-on-month, driven by structured plans you create and deliver with support.
* Reporting turns into storytelling. Data becomes clear, memorable, and actionable.
* The MD is out of the weeds. You’re owning the conversations, strategies, and narratives that keep clients progressing.


What a normal week looks like

* Architect and oversee multi‑channel strategies (PPC, SEO, Paid Social, LLM‑driven content, and CRO).
* Identify growth levers – design and prioritise experiments that drive measurable business outcomes.
* Lead quarterly strategy sessions with clients, producing actionable roadmaps that others implement.
* Create high‑level performance narratives that connect marketing data to board‑level business goals.
* Design campaign structures, creative briefs, and testing frameworks that ensure every hour is well spent.
* Oversee internal demand‑gen – coordinating creative, automation, and funnel optimisation to attract new inbound work.
* Confidently present to client stakeholders and internal teams, turning numbers into insight and decisions.
* Stay ahead of platform, AI, and automation changes – ensuring Tone stays progressive in its approach.


Who you are

* A senior performance marketer or strategist who’s ready to own the room, not just the campaigns.
* You see both creative potential and data logic – and can translate between them seamlessly.
* Highly self‑directed, structured, and capable of building systems around your work.
* Commercially fluent: you can talk in ROAS, MRR, and LTV as comfortably as CTR or CPA.
* Confident and charismatic communicator who simplifies complexity and earns trust.
* Thrives on autonomy, clarity, and responsibility – not chaos or instruction.
* Deeply curious about tech, automation, and how AI reshapes performance workflows.
