Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance standards within the Bideford and surrounding area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold the organisation's high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery
* Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and levels of cleanliness
* Pack and deliver linen to the cleaners
Qualifications
* Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, with previous supervisory roles preferred
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Good leadership and communication skills to motivate team members
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry
* Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
* Hospitality experience is highly desirable, along with a good understanding of guest service standards
