Are you an experienced Energy Consultant with a background in Energy Brokerage or Heat Networks?
PT Renewables is partnered with rapidly-growing, specialist energy services business that’s making serious moves in the UK heat network space.
We're looking for a brand new Head of Energy Consultancy to take ownership of a key function and help shape how energy services are delivered at scale.
This is a strategic leadership position where you’ll influence pricing, regulation, and performance across a national client base.
The Role
You’ll lead a growing Energy Services function, owning everything from tariff strategy and energy procurement to network performance and regulatory alignment.
You’ll act as the internal authority on heat networks and energy pricing - advising clients, guiding internal teams, and ensuring services deliver both commercial value and technical excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Acting as the in-house expert on heat network energy and pricing
* Leading and developing a multi-faceted energy consultancy offering
* Overseeing tariffs, brokerage, and network monitoring services
* Procuring energy from market providers to secure the best value for clients
* Producing detailed reports on efficiency improvements and cost optimisation
* Leading tariff reviews, financial modelling, and cost recovery analysis
* Collaborating with internal teams to create clear, client-friendly communications
About You
* Experience in the energy sector (heat networks or utilities preferred)
* Strong grasp of energy pricing, tariffs, and regulatory frameworks
* Advanced analytical and data skills (Excel is key)
* Background in energy brokerage or procurement is a big plus
* Someone who can balance technical depth with commercial awareness
The Package
* Base salary up to £80,000
* Up to 10% discretionary bonus
* 26 days holiday + BH
