The Reading Room Kitchen is set within Holden Clough Nurseries, a magical and picturesque setting surrounded by a beck in Bolton By Bowland. The restaurant opened in January 2023. The menus are based on fresh local produce and seasonality working alongside some local producers and artisans. We strive to use as many products from the ground as possible as we deliver a ground to plate dining experience. Quality, consistency and the guest is at the heart of everything we do.

• Making Bread, Scones and Pastries
• Preparing the kitchen for breakfast service (Breakfast 9-11:45)
• Working through daily Mise En Place List
• Prepare for Lunch (Lunch Service 12-3)
• Kitchen Clean Down
• Organise Section and Fridges for following day
• Create Prep List for following day based on Fridges and Section
