A well-established all-through Secondary school in Bristol is looking to appoint a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the effective operation of two nearby school sites. This is a key position within the school, ensuring the environment remains safe, secure and fully compliant at all times. About the Role • Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm) • Permanent position • Responsibility for two local school sites • Driving licence and access to a car essential You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage all aspects of facilities, maintenance, health & safety, and site compliance. The role requires strong organisational skills, practical problem-solving ability, and the confidence to manage priorities across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include: • Overseeing day-to-day maintenance and site operations • Ensuring health & safety compliance and statutory requirements are met • Managing contractors and service providers • Coordinating maintenance schedules and site improvements • Maintaining high standards of security and safeguarding across both sites • Responding promptly to operational issues About the School This specialist all-through Secondary school supports pupils across both primary and secondary phases.
