Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Beaufort, SC 29902 (South Carolina nursing jobs)
Unit: 22-bed adult Medical Surgical Oncology unit
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)
Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays and every other weekend; floating and holiday coverage required
Hours per Week: 36
Start Date: November 5, 2025
End Date: February 4, 2026
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (W2)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1680
Scrubs: Royal blue/white (not provided)
EMR System: Meditech
Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license (required for South Carolina healthcare jobs)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
BCLS certification required
IV start skills required
Travel nursing experience preferred
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Comfortable with high patient ratios (5-6 patients per nurse) and floating between units
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
Clear background and active nursing license required
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Medical Surgical Oncology unit
Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and other Med/Surg units as needed
Perform IV starts and manage central and peripheral lines
Administer medications, blood products, and manage surgical drains
Monitor telemetry and respond to rapid response/code teams
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
Care for patients with diverse diagnoses: wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, acute kidney injury (AKI), dialysis, liver failure, oncology, and end-of-life care
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
Complete unit orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
