On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are currently seeking a SEND teacher to lead a class of 6 learners presenting SEND needs (mainly autism). Children are happy and keen to learn but require tailored support and guidance to support social and emotional development. The role is on a full-time basis from ASAP and will pay up to £200 per day. In the class, there will also be two additional teaching assistants creating a very focused learning environment with 1:1 opportunities for children to make real progress. There will also be an element of personal care so experience or being comfortable with this will be crucial. The role is open to both ECTS and experienced teachers but a background working with SEND pupils is essential. It's an opportunity which offers great work life balance with minimal marking and is an extremely rewarding role. These children require individual support in line with EHCP targets and a consistent teacher who wants the best for the children.
