The Opportunity
A respected engineering consultancy is expanding their Vertical Transportation team and seeking a Senior VT Engineer to support major projects, including high‐rise residential schemes.
Role Responsibilities
* Develop vertical transportation design concepts for diverse building types
* Calculate lift numbers, sizes, speeds and performance
* Carry out site surveys and produce technical reports
* Prepare specifications, drawings and contract documents
* Collaborate with MEP teams across project stages
* Attend design and coordination meetings
* Support commissioning activities
* Progression into management and business development
Key Skills & Experience
* Degree/HNC in Engineering or related discipline
* Proven vertical transportation design experience
* Strong lift traffic analysis capability
* Competent with engineering calculations and relevant software
* Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
* Experience with ETAP/ERACS/Power Factory/Amtech HV beneficial
* Revit experience advantageous but not essential
