About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
You will work closely with pupils who may have:
* Autism (ASC)
* ADHD
* Moderate learning difficulties
* Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
* Speech, language and communication needs
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to SEN pupils
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
* Help implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
* Support emotional regulation and encourage positive behaviour
* Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)
* Patient, resilient and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for helping students achieve their potential
* DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
