Role
The role requires the following skills and experience to run discovery projects independently. Tailored training will be provided as part of the onboarding for the successful candidate.
* High bandwidth communication
* Proactive and working independently
* Running Phage Display against recombinant proteins and overexpressing cell lines.
* Maintaining (or developing) overexpressing GPCR cell lines
* Preparing PCR products for Next-Generation Sequencing
* Identifying and implementing novel technologies to increase throughput in panning, screening and functional testing
* PhD in a related subject area or equivalent industrial experience
* Experience in using phage display against cell-based antigens
* Experience in building targeted and diverse libraries
* Experience in leading projects in a laboratory environment
* Experience in biologics/antibody drug discovery
* Experience in GPCR-related functional assays
* Budgeting and cost consciousness
* An understanding of the overall development process for biologics
