A little bit about the role...
An exciting opportunity has become available at British Offsite. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and developing manufacturing processes, ensuring that production lines are safe, effective, and efficient.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
* Accurate creation and upkeep of a detailed PPM schedule, including all mechanical and electrical machinery
* Effectively carry out daily maintenance; this will include planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance logs and records
* Carrying out work to the highest standards in a clean and orderly manner across the site
* Assisting in Project Delivery and Improvement projects
* Collation of data and writing reports to present opportunities to Senior Management
* Performing maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
* Supporting OEMs and liaising with external maintenance contractors, ensuring safety standards are followed
* Adhering to H&S policies, procedures, and targets
* Other duties as assigned
What we'd like in return...
* Recognised electrical and mechanical qualifications
* Proven fault-finding knowledge on electrical and mechanical machinery
* Good understanding of Health & Safety and Safe Systems of Work
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Knowledge of building products sector (advantageous)
