Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our local facilities teams in Bath and Bristol, with a primary base in Bath. This role may require occasional travel to the other sites as needed.
About the Role
The Facilities Supervisor will work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective running of our buildings and facilities across the assigned locations.
Responsibilities
* Client-Focused Facilities Management
* Support the Facilities Manager in implementing life cycle maintenance programs.
* Manage, coordinate, and liaise with all on-site contractors.
* Assist in energy management, carbon reduction, and environmental initiatives to comply with company policies and legislation.
* Oversee building/property services, SLA delivery, tenant issues, and project work.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for staff at Bath and associated locations.
* Sustainable Growth & Compliance
* Maintain and develop expertise in current facilities management technologies, strategies, and legislation.
* Keep up to date with Health and Safety procedures and legislation; participate in the Health and Safety Committee if required.
* Leadership & Culture
* Lead and manage the local facilities teams, ensuring adequate staffing and high operational standards.
* Ensure all team responsibilities are executed promptly and efficiently.
* Act as an ambassador for the Facilities Department.
* Provide coverage at other firm locations when directed and act as the on-site contact in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
* Financial & Operational Excellence
* Implement and continuously improve facilities management strategies to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services within budget.
* Approve invoices in a timely manner and submit them to Accounts in line with delegated authority limits.
