We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join us to work in a Walk-In Centre in Leeds (two sites available). As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced clinical assessments and diagnosis for patients attending the Walk-In Centre
* Independently manage and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses within your scope of practice
* Prescribe medication and refer patients for further investigations or specialist consultations as required
* Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathetic approach in dealing with patients and their families
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records systems
Requirements:
* Valid NMC/HCPC Registration
* Hold Level 7 Minor Injury and Minor Illness
* Must be a Prescriber
* See and treat all patient groups
* Proven experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or Walk-In Centre setting
* SystmOne experience, with a valid Smart Card
