Job Description:
Are you an experienced HGV2 Driver looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring a dedicated HGV2 Driver to join our team, specialising in the collection of palletised waste from customers. This role involves operating a curtain-sided vehicle and using a Moffett for loading and unloading. If you don’t have a Moffett licence, forklift truck experience is essential, and our customer will provide Moffett training to the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate an HGV2 (Category C) vehicle to collect palletised waste from various customer locations.
* Efficiently use a Moffett to load and unload palletised waste onto the vehicle.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of all collections and deliveries.
* Maintain detailed records of collections and deliveries.
* Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
* Valid HGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
* Proven experience operating a curtain-sided vehicle.
* Moffett licence preferred; candidates with forklift truck experience will be considered, with Moffett training provided.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
