Project Estimator - Structural Steel Location: Edinburgh (WFH or Office Based) Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Estimator to join a well-established structural steel business. This is a full-time role with the flexibility to be office-based or fully remote, depending on your preference. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates by analysing drawings, 3D models, and project specifications. Manage allocated tenders from enquiry through to submission. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders. Assess project risks and opportunities. Attend pre-tender meetings to clarify project scopes. Provide detailed handovers to project managers for awarded contracts. Requirements: 3 years' proven estimating experience in structural steelwork and access metalwork. Strong knowledge of steel materials, fabrication, and erection methods. Ability to interpret UK standards and client specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong numerical and analytical skills. Cladding knowledge and CNC cut/drill understanding advantageous but not essential.
