Are you passionate about making communities safer and improving residents' lives? Do you thrive in a customer-focused environment and enjoy working collaboratively to resolve issues? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a Community Safety Co-Ordinator to join our dedicated Community Safety Team. Based in High Wycombe with flexible hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to our residents' lives.
About the Role
As a Community Safety Co-Ordinator, you’ll support our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) service. You’ll be the first point of contact for residents reporting ASB, assessing risk levels, agreeing action plans, and ensuring timely and effective communication throughout the process.
You’ll manage a caseload of low-risk ASB cases, attend joint visits with Community Safety Officers, and help ensure our service meets and exceeds customer expectations. You’ll also handle the ASB inbox, calls, and maintain accurate records.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing excellent customer service to residents reporting ASB via phone, email, app, or online.
* Managing the ASB inbox and telephone enquiries.
* Conducting risk assessments and allocating cases appropriately.
* Supporting the team with administrative tasks and correspondence.
* Attending joint visits with ASB Officers.
* Contributing to service improvement by identifying trends and providing feedback.
What We’re Looking For
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, especially in challenging situations.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Previous experience in ASB or a customer-facing role in a regulated environment (desirable).
* Lived experience of social housing (desirable).
Potential Career Progression
While this role is fixed term for 12 months, our size (circa 630 employees, turnover £150m+) and ongoing transformation may lead to extension, permanency, or other opportunities. Many colleagues started as temporary/interim and progressed within the organization. Even if this role doesn't become permanent, it offers valuable experience to enhance your employability.
