Responsibilities
* Fabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assemblies
* Single-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuits
* Preparation, soldering, and termination of wire cable harnesses
* Using blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics
* Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues
* Finding problems using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and communicating with the manufacturing and maintenance team to prevent impact on the equipment
* Programming instrumentation to relay information to a central HMI
* Testing analog inputs and outputs to ensure accurate calibration
* Configuration of equipment using PLC interfaces (GE Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
* Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically
* Maintaining the quality of all the products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment
* Live working at 400V
* Electrical inspection and testing (EIC, EICR and PAT)
Skills
* City And Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* NVQ3 in electrical based units
* City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection
* Passport to safety or equivalent
* Experience in industrial electrical works
