Are you an experienced underwriter, and a trader looking for your next step? This is an opportunity to move into a senior development underwriter role with real autonomy to manage and grow your portfolio.

Your responsibilities as Senior Development Underwriter:
* Portfolio Management: Grow and manage a profitable book of business through sound underwriting decisions and proactive broker engagement.
* Broker Relationships: Build and maintain strong broker relationships, respond to queries, and identify new opportunities.
* Underwriting & Compliance: Underwrite new and existing business in line with guidelines, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Process Improvement: Review and refine underwriting guides and lead workshops to support broker development.
* Operational Efficiency: Identify ways to improve processes and ensure effective service delivery.

* Significant underwriting experience, ideally within commercial lines.
* Strong technical skills and the ability to assess complex risks.
* Proven ability to manage and develop broker relationships.
* Clear communication and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
* A focus on delivering results while ensuring compliance.
