We have great opportunity for an Operative looking to working on LED street lighting projects within the looking Teesside area. The role will involve working with a small team across parts of Middlesborough.
Key activities:
1. Installation of ducting for street lighting furniture, lighting columns, signs and associated equipment
2. Accurate completion of all paperwork, job sheets and other relevant documentation
3. Ensure that all work complies with the appropriate legislation
4. Ensure that all Company safety policies, procedures and instructions are adhered to and that all the necessary records and checks are maintained
5. Driving a HIAB
6. To ensure that all works are adequately protected and the safety of the workforce, public and vehicles is maintained at all times
7. To participate in any training to satisfy the requirements of the position
Skills & experience:
8. Must have experience on street works related projects
9. Will have a good attitude & a keenness to learn, willing to work outside & able to work at height
10. Will be able to complete paperwork & other documentation as required, & preferably IT proficient
11. Must be able to plan and be a forward thinker
12. A willingness to participate in an out-of-hours emergency service on a rota basis
13. Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of, and commitment to, Health & Safety
