Farlingaye High School Address: Woodbridge, IP12 4JX Salary: £25,396 per annum (£26,403 pro rata) Hours: 37 hours per week, 44 weeks per year Contract: Permanent Reference: 8130 This is an exciting opportunity to join Farlingaye High School as our Audio/Visual ICT Technician to join our dedicated and driven ICT Technical Team. This is a unique role where you will have responsibility for the maintenance of the school’s AV equipment and running the sound and lighting systems for productions and other events. You will work closely with teachers and suppliers and offer guidance to students who participate in the technical side of these productions. You will also assist the ICT Technician with general maintenance as and when required. One of the areas that you will support is our Drama Department who will rely on your expertise in lighting and tech to ensure the smooth running and effectiveness of their exams and shows. Ideally, we would welcome applicants who have prior experience of providing sound and lighting support or someone with a passion who wishes to pursue this further. You need to be flexible on their hours of work subject to the needs of the role. At different points in the academic year depending on the school’s event schedule, there is a heavier workload, and we will require hours to be flexed which may involve an earlier or later start time and occasional evening and weekend working.
