We’re working with a brilliant secondary school in Pontefract that’s looking for a confident, dependable Cover Supervisor to join their team long-term. No daily supply. No surprises. Just one school, where you can settle in, build relationships, and really make a difference.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
* Creating a calm, purposeful environment for learning
* Managing behaviour in line with school policy
* Supporting students to stay focused and engaged
* Feeding back to teaching staff at the end of each day
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with young people (in or outside of school)
* A confident, approachable style and strong classroom presence
* Good communication and behaviour management skills
* A flexible, proactive attitude and genuine interest in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may be available at a later date.
