Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team was established to help clients overcome significant challenges. They work directly with Finance teams to deliver business critical projects – from year end accounting to IPOs and M&A. The FAAS team sits within our Advisory division and works closely with a range of clients across different industry sectors. A look into the role
* Our Assistant Managers lead client engagements, delivering high quality services and leading teams on and off site.
* The FAAS team provides a fully‑managed service that offers on‑demand, expert support to finance teams across a range of industries.
* You will undertake secondments to support clients through business critical issues.
* We look for collaborative individuals with good communication skills who want to work with a diverse client base.
* You will travel across the UK to client sites in Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Birmingham or London.
Knowing you’re right for us
Minimum criteria:
* Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/equivalent) and passionate about supporting, advising and helping businesses.
* Experience in financial process and internal systems review and improvement.
* Delivery of statutory accounts preparation and consolidations.
* Preparation of year‑end audit packs and client readiness for audit.
* Support in transitioning to new accounting standards and financial reporting changes.
Additional desirable skills:
* Project management experience.
* Experience in a practice environment such as external audit.
