MMP Consultancy are recruiting a Leasehold Adviser on a temporary basis to work for a Housing Association in Kent. As a Leasehold Adviser, you will play a key role in managing leasehold and home ownership transactions, ensuring statutory timescales are met and customers receive a responsive, accurate service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and respond to Leasehold Enquiries, including LPE1 and FME1 packs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
* Process Right to Buy (RTB) and Right to Acquire (RTA) applications in line with legislation and internal procedures
* Handle staircasing transactions, liaising with solicitors, valuers and internal teams
* Support lease extensions, including coordination of documentation and statutory notices
* Provide flexible cover across the leasehold and home ownership team during annual leave and sickness absence
* Assist with new build sales administration where required, including coordination of documents and customer correspondence
* Maintain accurate records and case notes on internal systems
* Deliver a customer‑focused service, responding to enquiries from leaseholders, solicitors and internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience working in leasehold and/or home ownership services within a Housing Association, Local Authority or similar environment
* Strong working knowledge of LPE1/FME1 enquiries
* Experience with RTB, RTA, staircasing or lease extensions
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confident, adaptable and able to pick up new areas of work quickly
