Job Role: Business Change Lead - Tax Projects Location: Hybrid (Windsor office) Contract: 5 months (until end of 2025) Day Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)\n\nAre you ready to take your career to the next level in the energy sector? Our client is seeking a dynamic Group Tax Business Change Lead to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 5 months. If you have a passion for tax technology and business change, this is your chance to shine!\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n As the Group Tax Business Change Lead, you'll be at the forefront of exciting initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:\n\nTax Technology Implementation:Lead and support the implementation of innovative tax technology tools to ensure that tax objectives are met.\nChange Management:Oversee business change aspects, including testing, communication, training, and policy updates through various mini projects across teams.\nInternal Tax Projects:Spearhead internal projects and changes, enhancing the tax risk and control framework, and driving automation and optimisation efforts.\nDocumentation Excellence:Deliver top-notch documentation and training materials, ensuring clear communication throughout the organisation.\nRelationship Building:Cultivate effective working relationships within Group Tax, with other teams, and external suppliers.\nRisk Management:Identify and manage risks, escalating for mitigation where appropriate.\nKey Stakeholders: You will interact with peers, senior managers, and various teams within Group Finance, ensuring seamless collaboration for successful project execution.Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:\n\nExperience in leading business change and internal projects, ideally within tax functions.\nExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.\nFamiliarity with systems implementation, user testing, and process changes.\nExperience in enhancing control frameworks and managing risks.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem resolution skills.\nProven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and develop effective working relationships.Key Competencies/Core Capabilities:\n We are looking for someone who is:\n\nSkilled in planning and organising, with the ability to work in an agile and dynamic environment.\nProactive, self-motivated, and capable of bringing teams together for shared goals.\nTechnically competent in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nAble to communicate effectively with both IT and non-IT professionals.Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
