Overview
Our client, a global leader in aerospace, defence, and aviation manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner. In this role, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle—partnering with hiring managers, sourcing and assessing candidates, and ensuring the attraction of top talent to support high-profile programmes.
Location and pay
Filton - onsite
£26.92 per hour Inside IR35
Contract length: 2 months
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret engineering instructions and aircraft drawings
* Carry out fitting tasks to required standards, including drilling, shimming, and sealing using hand and power tools
* Perform 1st party certification following completion of relevant training courses
* Work in confined spaces (tank work), including physically demanding wing access and egress
* Champion Health & Safety standards at all times
Required Skills & Experience
* Completed a full engineering apprenticeship (e.g., Aircraft/Sheet Metal Worker, Fitter/Turner, Maintenance Technician, Tool Maker)
* Hold NVQ Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
* Previous experience as a Fitter/Assembly Operator, with confident use of hand tools
* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
