Volunteer Strategic Fundraising & Partnerships Volunteer | Vision for Access CIC
Use your fundraising expertise to help shape strategy, secure grants, and build partnerships for a growing social enterprise championing accessibility and inclusion for people with sight loss.
Responsibilities
* Help shape fundraising strategy and secure grants, donations, and partnerships to support Vision for Access CIC’s mission.
* Research and draft compelling grant applications and proposals.
* Identify and approach potential corporate and community partners.
* Share knowledge and guidance to build fundraising capacity within the organization.
* Support delivery of free training for NHS staff, employment empowerment programmes, and accessibility audits.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of professional experience in fundraising, business development, or partnerships.
* Proven track record of securing income from grants, donors, or corporate partners.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strategic thinking and the ability to spot opportunities.
* Collaborative approach and willingness to share expertise.
* Desirable but not essential: knowledge of accessibility, inclusion, or disability-related issues; experience supporting small charities or CICs.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and strengthen Vision for Access CIC’s fundraising strategy.
* Research and draft grant applications and identify new funding opportunities.
* Engage potential corporate and community partners to expand funding and collaboration.
* Contribute guidance to build fundraising capacity across the organization.
* Maintain flexible time commitment (typically 4–12 hours per week), with a minimum 3 months and options for short-term project support.
