Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation within the kitchen.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed..
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
* A passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development.
