We are looking for a part-time Assistant Manager to join the team at our Chestnut Tree House shop in Selsey. You will assist the Retail Manager in managing and co-ordinating the day-to-day shop activities, ensuring excellent customer service and maximising overall profit.
* Experience working with volunteers or as a volunteer preferred
* Previous retail or business experience
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence individuals and teams
* Ability to interact and collaborate effectively to support colleagues and other departments
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give clear instructions
* Confident communication with a wide range of people, with sensitivity
* Ability to assess situations and defuse conflicts positively
* A team player with the ability to work on own initiative
