The successful candidates will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently within a warehouse and production environment, ensuring smooth materials handling to support ongoing operations. All positions above are on 12-week temp to perm basis’, based on performance and attendance within the first 12 weeks of the contract. Location: Leyland, Lancashire. Term: 12-week temp to perm (based on performance and attendance) Pay frequency: Weekly pay for the previous weeks worked hours. Key responsibilities: Safely operate relevant Forklift Truck in a busy warehouse setting. Load and unload goods and materials from delivery vehicles. Move stock to designated storage areas and organise inventory within the warehouse. Ensure that stock is handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain product quality. Maintain accurate records of stock movement, including materials received and dispatched. Perform regular safety checks and report any faults or issues with equipment. Always adhere to health and safety policies and procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties, such as picking and packing when required. Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines. Carry out general warehouse duties, alongside FLT driving Key requirements: Forklift experience within the past 3 years (proof of certification / operator card / refresher required). Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures. Good attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physically capable of carrying out manual tasks, such as lifting and moving stock. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude to work. Interested in this role?
