The Role
We’re hiring our first Social Media/Content Lead. This is not a “schedule posts in Hootsuite” job.
This is about building a highly engaging narrative engine around our users, our product, our growth, and the behind-the-scenes chaos of building a global startup.
You’ll own content strategy and execution. You’ll generate ideas. You’ll test them. You’ll film them. You’ll write them. You’ll post them. You’ll analyse them. You’ll kill what doesn’t work. You’ll double down on what does.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Telling User Stories
You’ll spend real time with our users. In vans, on job sites, in messy offices. You’ll extract the real stories, not the polished corporate version.
Then you’ll turn those stories into LinkedIn posts, short-form video, case studies, narrative threads, documentary-style content, viral organic content (both funny and hard hitting)
Shooting Behind-The-Scenes Startup Content
We want to document the journey. The good bits. The funny bits. The chaotic bits. The “this might not work” bits and develop the characters of the team, so our users know the humans behind the AI voice.
You’ll capture product build moments, founder debates, team wins and losses, customer onboarding chaos, and the reality of building an AI company in the trades
Think less “corporate promo”. More “startup documentary”.
Building a Content Engine
Founder-led content, brand-led content, community storytelling, experimenting with formats, tracking what resonates, turning insight into distribution.
We don’t want vanity metrics. We want content that builds trust, creates pull, and makes tradespeople say “that’s exactly me”.
Who This Is For
You thrive in ambiguity, fast-paced environments, high standards and zero hand-holding. You don’t wait for briefs. You create them. You don’t need a 12-month plan. You need conviction and a camera.
You’ll Be A Fit If:
* You’re an exceptional storyteller (written and video)
* You’ve built or grown an audience before
* You understand narrative, not just “content”
* You can turn raw conversation into powerful angles
