Our Transactions Tax specialists provide services such as tax due diligence reviews, advice on private equity structures, vendor assistance, and management tax planning.
Due to growth and high-profile M&A Tax appointments, we are looking to add a Manager to our National Transactions Tax team. You will work closely with regional Partners, contribute to the development of our Transactions Tax offering, and handle a variety of projects across industries, collaborating with our Corporate Finance Department and utilizing RSM’s international network. The role’s base office is flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing diverse M&A tax projects.
2. Providing tax structuring advice pre- and post-transaction for tax-efficient solutions.
3. Writing technical descriptions for client reports.
4. Supporting business development, especially in private equity, with the Transactions Tax Partner.
5. Mentoring team members through coaching, training, and career discussions.
6. Researching and preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
Candidate Profile:
* CTA or ATII qualified preferred, with an accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
* Experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
* Good knowledge of Transactions Tax, either in a specialist or corporate tax capacity.
* Proven client handling and relationship-building skills.
* Strong coaching and people development abilities.
* Business development experience or interest is advantageous.
