Web Development & Marketing Platforms Project Manager/Business Analyst
6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 (Umbrella/PAYE)
Remote / Paddington

My client who are a specialised technology company are looking to recruit a Web Development and Marketing Platforms Project Manager to join them on an initial 6-month contract, working with their team based in London Paddington. The Web Development and Marketing Platforms Project Manager requires some Business Analyst expertise (the role will be split at 70% PM and 30% BA), will focus on the implementation of small, medium and large projects including key digital systems; and involves Project Management & Business Analysis experience with requirements gathering. This role is a Project Manager with some BA expertise required.

Key Responsibilities for the Web Development and Marketing Platforms Project Manager:

* Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for software projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising resources and efforts effectively.
* Define project objectives, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Ensure authorised projects have the appropriate resources and funding assigned to them.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Global Marketing & Sales, regulatory, IT, and external vendors.
* Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
* System Implementation:
* Oversee the implementation of software, ensuring integration with existing platforms and compliance with data security standards.
* Manage the development and enhancement of company websites, ensuring they meet accessibility, usability, and branding standards.
* Ensure release procedures and appropriate governance are adhered to.
* Compliance and Data Privacy:
* Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards throughout the program lifecycle. Oversee the deployment of customer consent management systems to ensure data privacy compliance.
* Risk and Issue Management:
* Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
* Resolve project issues in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruption to business operations.
* Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
* Evaluate performance metrics and implement continuous improvement practices for programme delivery.
Key skills and experience for the Web Development and Marketing Platforms Project Manager/Business Analyst
o Experience with e-commerce, customer engagement tools, and data-driven marketing integrations.
o Marketing automation, and CRM platforms** (e.g., MS Dynamics).
o Expertise in customer journey mapping, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and personalized user experiences.
o Proven experience launching B2B/B2C e-commerce platforms with integrations to CRM, SAP, payment, and PIM systems.
o Knowledge of headless commerce architectures (composable frontends + commercetools/Contentful) and omnichannel strategies. Hands-on experience integrating of marketing stacks (email automation, CDPs, analytics) with web/mobile platforms, Google Analytics 4. Data-driven campaigns using A/B testing tools (Optimizely) and personalized content delivery. Payment processors, social media ads, SMS/email providers) and managed API gateways.
o Implemented *GDPR/CCPA-compliant data collection pipelines, cookie consent managers (OneTrust), and CDP integrations. Experience with first-party data strategy and deprecation of third-party cookies.
o UX/UI for Conversion Optimization
o Collaborated with UX teams to design high-converting landing pages, mobile app flows, and checkout experiences.
o Used tools like Figma, session recordings, and funnel analysis.
o Ad Tech & Analytics Expertise
o Any experience of digital projects including Global Samples, Web Navigation and Registration & Login is highly desirable.
o Real-time marketing reporting.
o Piloted AI/ML-driven features Product recommendations, chatbots)
o Adopted low-code tools (Webflow, Unbounce) for rapid campaign landing pages
o Cross-functional leadership bridging*marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
o Expertise in global campaign rollouts and localization (multi-language platforms).
