Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Great Yarmouth We’re looking for dependable and adaptable individuals to support schools across Great Yarmouth in the role of Unqualified Teaching Assistant . This is a rewarding, fast-paced position where you’ll work closely with teaching staff to support students with a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs. You’ll play a key part in creating a positive, supportive learning environment, helping pupils build confidence and stay on track. The Role As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you’ll work both in and out of the classroom, ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting students with a variety of learning and behavioural needs Assisting with core subjects such as literacy and numeracy Promoting positive behaviour through consistency and clear expectations Helping maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment Collaborating with teachers and staff to support pupil progress What We’re Looking For While experience in education, care, sports coaching, or youth work is beneficial, it’s not essential. What matters most is your attitude, resilience, and ability to build strong relationships.
