Tekmar Energy is seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Sales Manager to join our growing team. As a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of subsea cable protection systems for the offshore wind and oil & gas industries, we're looking for someone who can build lasting customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver against challenging sales targets.
Reporting to the Group Sales Director, you'll play a pivotal role in developing our global customer base, leading complex tender responses, managing key accounts, and driving order intake across our innovative product and service portfolio.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and converting new business opportunities within the offshore wind and oil & gas sectors.
- Managing customer relationships throughout the pre-contract sales process.
- Leading responses to ITTs and RFQs in collaboration with commercial and technical teams.
- Creating and executing winning sales strategies and key account plans.
- Negotiating commercial agreements while maximising profitability and minimising risk.
- Maintaining a strong opportunity pipeline through CRM management.
- Working collaboratively across the business to ensure seamless project handovers.
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least 7 years' experience in a similar sales role within the offshore wind or oil & gas industry.
- A proven track record of winning business and delivering commercial success.
- Strong strategic sales, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with customers and partners at all levels.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for the offshore energy industry.
- A willingness to travel internationally as business requires.
