Location: Hereford Job Type: Full-time Salary: £55,000 per annum bonus Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Home Manager to lead the operational performance of a well-established nursing home in Hereford. This is a senior leadership position requiring a candidate with proven care home management experience and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding, compliant, and person-centred care. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for clinical governance, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and the overall quality of care delivered within the home. Key Responsibilities Provide strong clinical and operational leadership to the home, ensuring the highest standards of care at all times Take full accountability for CQC compliance, inspections, and regulatory outcomes Lead, motivate, and develop the multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive and high-performance culture Ensure robust clinical governance, safeguarding, DoLS, and risk management processes are in place and followed Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical standards across the home Manage occupancy, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure sustainable performance Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders Ensure all policies, procedures, and audits are implemented and maintained to required standards Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and resident experience Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a care or nursing home (essential) Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and DoLS Proven leadership and people management skills Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills Confident in written reporting, audits, and IT systems Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care Commercially and operationally aware, with the ability to manage performance and standards Working Hours Predominantly Monday to Friday Occasional weekend working or 12-hour shifts as required to meet service needs Salary & Benefits Competitive salary: £55,000 per annum Performance-related bonus structure Electric Car scheme Company pension scheme 25 days annual leave statutory holidays Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Free on-site parking Refer-a-Friend incentive scheme Cycle to Work scheme Blue Light Card Enhanced DBS check paid for by the company Additional Information Job Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site (Hereford)
