Avalon Care Solutions is seeking an experienced and organised Care Coordinator to join our team in Northamptonshire, helping us deliver high-quality personal care and domiciliary care services to clients in their own homes.
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing staff rotas, supporting care workers, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and delivering safe, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure all care visits are safely covered.
* Act as the main point of contact for care workers and clients, resolving queries promptly.
* Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations and CQC compliance.
* Carry out risk assessments, care plan reviews, and spot checks.
* Ensure accurate recording and reporting of care delivery, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.
* Supervise, support, and mentor care staff to maintain high standards of care.
* Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of care staff.
* Participate in the on-call rota, responding to emergencies as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in domiciliary/home care is an advantage
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lead, support, and motivate a team.
* Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and person-centred care planning.
* Good IT skills for rota management and compliance reporting.
* Must pass an enhanced DBS check.
* Right to work in the UK.
* A driving licence and access to a car is an advantage.
